Black rock desert is situated near the small town of Gerlack, about 100 miles north of Reno, Nevada.
Black Rock Desert is a vast place, very hard to imagine
if you have never been there.
I think this is the best picture I have to describe it.

The car is powered by two spey jet engines from a Phantom
jet fighter.
They give a total of around 100,000 horsepower.

It is very hard to get a good photo of the car running
due to security restrictions and photographic equipment.
This is a picture of the car on tow back from a new world
record run on the 25th of september.
Note the damage to the paint from the heat of the engines.
